SCHEDULE

Friday- Attendees arrive at Dave's ranch in Mackay, Idaho for a tour of the facilities at 6pm. The tour is followed by a home-cooked meal by Dave's wife Mary. After dinner attendees are entertained by a slideshow and discussion with Dave about his photography career. Attendees are able to ask questions about the professional photography industry.

Saturday- Workshop attendees will arrive at the ranch for an early morning meal and sunrise photo shoot.
There will be a lunch break followed by a mid-day session with discussion and review of the photos taken from the morning photo shoot. The afternoon shoot will include additional direction on shooting ranch portraits and conclude with a sunset scene of horses and cowboys. Dinner is served back at the ranch and a review of photos from earlier in the day is accompanied by dessert, cocktail and tall tail stories.

Sunday- Workshop attendees will arrive at the ranch for an early morning meal and sunrise photo shoot of cowboy/cowgirl portraits around the ranch. The ranch offers options and places to set up portrait scenes around the barn, out buildings and landscapes. There will be a lunch break followed by a mid-day session with discussion and review of the photos taken from the morning photo shoot. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to learn basic photo editing skills and will have time to work alone and process their images. Attendees will then shoot a beautiful scenic sunset of the area. We'll end the session with an evening slideshow and dinner discussion of the weekend's events and your newfound skills and talents. Guests can decide to leave late Sunday night if they so choose.

Monday- Time TBD based on flight schedules. Drive back to Ketchum.
